Abstract

The Project Class Manager Teacher implemented in the State of Ceará, since 2008, same period in which the federation unit has also created and strengthened its State Policy on Professional Education. The two policies are thus articulated so that all the professional schools maintained by the state sphere have adhered to the aforementioned project and have it intrinsic to its structure and functioning. This study aims to understand how the Class Manager interferes on the pedagogical management of the professional schools of Sertão dos Inhamuns, a mesoregion that has two schools of this type, in which a multiple case study was carried out, supported by qualitative research, using semi-structured interview technique. The data analysis showed that the project has contributed to the pedagogical management of loci schools, guiding its educational work, but it presents aspects to be redefined in its praxis, coming from the most diverse scopes (school, regional and state entity).
