homeless population, focusing the homeless population of Pelotas, during the
pandemic times of the new coronavirus. The main point of this discussion is the
insertion of the results of a research in a wider feld, establishing a debate with
different actors and collectivities, with the aim of consolidating an ethnographic
engagement between the interlocution, the city and its public debate, so as to
identify inconsistencies, contradictions and political games which raises care and
repression, as well as defense and remotion, rights, citizenship and violence.
