Abstract

Practices of Sharing Economy are becoming more and more frequent and presents different possibilities of interpretation, fact that has led to debates about their implications in social life. In this work we will present part of the process of construction of a research that seeks to understand how the intersections between economic and non-economic aspects occur in Collaborative Economy environments. The focus of this study is the relationship between hosts and guests that happen through the domestic hosting application Airbnb. And in this article, we propose to discuss how a Sociology of Valuation and Evaluation could contribute to the research process.
