CHILDREN CULTURES AND DIMENSIONS OF SOCIALIZATION IN THE ROUTINE OF A HOME DAY CARE
Abstract
The present paper intends to analyze the routine in a home day care located in a poor district of São Gonçalo/RJ, emphasizing children cultures and three dimension of socialization. The theoretical approach considers studies on gender, working class families and children cultures. Although there is not a structured pedagogic proposal in the routine of home day care, the analysis shows the existence of educational relationships among adults and children, but different than formal places of childhood education.
